The 26th edition of the 24h of Belgium, the main international event of the puzzle will be held this year on 28 and 29 October.
September 5th, 2011

This year's edition has become the world's main international event of the puzzle, and is considered the unofficial Jigsaw Puzzle World Championship because of the wide international representation, the high level of the participants and the excellent organization of the event.

The championship will gather over 1000 participants from different countries (Belgium, France, Spain, Russia, Britain, Czech Republic, Peru, Poland, etc.) who will strive for the top prize in the two categories in which they will compete: teams and singles.

As for the teams category, the winner will be the team that correctly places the highest number of pieces during the 24 hours of competition, participating simultaneously only 4 members of each team. Jigsaw puzzles will be delivered one by one, as they are finished. They will be the same for all teams and they have to be assembled in the same order. The size of the puzzles ranges between 1000 and 2000 pieces. This type of competition requires both speed and endurance, making the event into something unique and a must for all fans.

Singles category will be a time trial and the winner will be the one who assembles a 500-piece puzzle proposed by the organizing in the least time possible.

The championship is sponsored by the brand Jumbo and all the funds raised will be directly and indirectly invested in the development of charity programs for the needy.
